I just hope that this guy's wife and children can't recognize her husband / their father from these pics.
Nobody deserves to die like that. Absolutely terrifying.
The world changed that day. Although I'm a stereotypical pascifist Canadian, in my mind those two pics justify everything that the U.S. has done since 9/11.
You reap what you sow, and some insane bastards planted some very deep seeds. Just be thankful that the U.S. never stoop to the level of the "terrorists". (In quotes, because "insane cowards" is more accurate).
If the U.S. played by the same rules as the bat-shit insane extremists who planned 9/11, three quarters of the world would be charred and black. The United States did not change the rules - a bunch of insane Saudis did. After 9/11, America decided it wanted its ball back - and now its going to take its sweet fucking time retrieving it.
What the fuck did you think was going to happen? Did you ever actually think that the fucking United States of America would idly stand by (Oh, that's ok! Let's enter negotiations!) after a number of its citizens dove 1,200 feet to their deaths because they didn't want to die in a fire?
Now we live with the fallout and the consequences. If I was in charge when 9/11 happened, I would have done things to the world that President Bush probably never even dreamed of in his worst nightmares.
tl;dr: The U.S. didn't start this shit, but - one way or another - they're gonna finish it.
