I've never understood parents paying for weddings. It's their (hopefully) grown kids wedding for Christs sake.
Having said that, if I have a daughter, I will probably pay for her wedding so she has a great day. Its easy to say I wont since I am not a dad. Just one wedding though. If there is a second she can do it at the courthouse.
