I was about 13 and the family was on a holiday and we were in a towed caravan camper. It was the kind with the double axles in the middle. My parents were in one end, my brother and sister wanted to sleep in a tent outside, and I was in the other end. I thought I had privacy, but I guess the axles being in the middle meant that the vibration I was causing on my end, was being transmitted to the other end. All of the sudden my Step Father yelled, "Cut it out, or you will wear it out completely!", and he and my mother both started laughing.
Oh, the humiliation at age 13.
