Human nature, there are very few places in society that allow such an outlet to truly tell people what you think about them. It's not like you could print out a picture of goatse and slam it in the face of somebody's grandmother because she is taking too long in the grocery store line.
People say what they are feeling AT THE TIME here, it's generally a good thing, but maybe also an attraction to certain people with mental issues.
