steal content, and or profit from it and want us to stay quiet.

-New posters registering on GFY and only posting in torrent threads advocating the thefts.

-Threats from said posters.

-Actual businesses attempting unsuccessfully to justify the use of others content for financial gain.

the rabbit hole goes deep. the things we are uncovering are shocking. companies who you thought are clean actually conspiring directly with thief sites. lots of info piling up. no need to bring anything out now. the discovery is eye opening.

in one case an adult business owns a torrent site and gets people to join their site network for 1 dollar and teachs the consumer how to cancel and uses this method to give the consumer access to tons of other peoples content on a leecher torrent site.

*again, no threats, just thought i would share for those that think that there are no problems or shadys out there. there are.

i got 5 job offers last week alone.

i'm not worried in the slightest about my career.

i think the last thing helping this is by going up shaking hands and posing pictures with the devil just so everyone else can see how great a guy they are. you are directly helping support these sites by doing this imho.

Personally, I dont talk to or shake the hands of anyone who is a thief, if i can help it. Thieves should be run out of the industry, plain and simple. They should not be welcome at industry events. Their advertising money should not be accepted. Their hands should not be shaken, and quite frankly, you should not be seen conversing with these people. It gives people the wrong impression, and the next you know people are not wanting to do business with you.

I would have to say metaman has a point, but no need to be nasty about it.

I think Airek at least deserves a little more respect then that for what he is doing, or attempting to do. Only time will tell if his efforts will actually amount to anything. I hope it does, but one can only hope.
