I hate snobs. Period.

Ya, those who tend to buy the best in its class, not really thinking if they need features included. I buy shit thinking of my needs, so thats why i hate snobs.
Like i have a new pda but no wifi in it ( i dont need wifi!!! ), I have a car but no rain detector ( can switch it myself ), i have my cell phoe but not a 3mp camera ( i have camera to take pix ) ... and so on and so force. Each time we talk he says things like above ... We are getting older, me and my buddy. We know each other for 20 years now. But still he is a fucking snob, I cant tell him into face but i feel easier now telling it here in public.

And know what, thank God if you still can wipe your ass manually, you frigging snob!

a 20 years old buddies. Too old to break up and too smart to tell shit. So, it gets nasty discussing things we both want. I tend to want stuff thats near enough to fulfill my needs while he gets stuff that is way beyond the needs i can imagine.

So far its my 4th laptop while he managed to have 1, mine where all under 1,5k he got one for 2,5k.

I love frequent chnages the guy can run shit for ages. I sell my old stuff he has to get a mini storage for his gadgets and stuff i guess.

SO yeah, a regulat daily battle confirming how different we are and still good buddies.

I guess that i dont like when i pay top dollar for the stuff i rarely use or dont use at all. May be one day i become spoiled that much too, but i try to keep away from that.

Here's my list for comparison:

No PDA with or without wifi.
Hand crank windows and never park without rolling up the window.
Dont have a cell phone. Seriously. I live and work from home, so why bother?

Theres a little perspective shift for you, hehe

My last neighbor on the right side bought a newer car than me, (twice over the years while my car is a 1996). Her house looked nicer and she dressed herself and her kids beautifully at all times. Never a hair out of place. One day the postman gave me her mail by mistake. So I stopped shovelling my driveway and brought her WELFARE CHECK to her mailbox.

Talk about extremes.

I agree completely. I just don't see the necessity of living so excessively even though you have the money to live that way. Plus, if I just flash around all these things I don't need I would imagine that that would attract the wrong kind of attention.
