This weekend, the kitchen staff is setting up tents and organizing things so they can provide hot meals under the current weather.
Because it requires time, they're cutting down on the complexity of evening meals and setting up actual closing times, instead of the roughly 24/7 schedule they've been running (depending on whether they had people awake although IME it's been close to 24 hours some days).
What they are not doing is turning away homeless people. In fact they're still feeding anyone who shows up. And for their efforts, and the efforts of the volunteer kitchen staffs at every occupation, I think we should extend a big thank you to them.
