If it is narrowly constructed to prohibit the streaming of "copyrighted speech" and repealing the DMCA on copyrighted works -- it would fly -- the government has a responsibility to protect intellectual property rights. |
I'm all for making an attempt to eliminate piracy, but it's so overreaching its not even funny. It's almost like cutting off your head to cure a runny nose. It's not even hyperbole to say it would destroy the internet.
