Maybe, but I do know that our bounce rate is extremely low compared to any of our competitors. Orgasms.xxx v's x-art.com for example, x-art is at around 36%, ours is half that at 18%. Casting.xxx v's Backroomcastingcouch.com, BRCC is at 45% bounce rate, ours is 10%.
The only reason I can see for that huge difference is that people typing into Google (that accounts for around 20% of our traffic, know that they are coming to an adult site because of the .xxx domain extension.
Would we have had as a successful launch as we have had on a .com? Possibly, but I would not have had domains like orgasms.com or casting.com or Kiss.com as they were either not available or priced so high that it was out of our range. Then again, the sheer quality of our content will always shine, but I do know that the .xxx domains that I was able to secure have certainly helped with branding and a surprising amount of search engine traffic.
