          This thread has been on GFY before. My teen boys have both systems. They still play PS2 way more than XBox.

                                          I know Hollywood Video (like blockbuster) is trying to get rid of all all their PS2 games....so you wont be able to rent many soon

                                              xbox - Halo is the best game on the xbox. It kicks ass, but that is their only outstanding game.
                                              Their other games are good, but nothing compares to Halo.

                                              PS2 has at least 10 games that are outstanding, and a bunch of good games as well.

                                              xbox needs at least 4-5 more games as good as Halo to justify buying the system.

                                              Right now I would buy a Ps2.
                                              I have neither but my younger brother owns both systems and plays the Ps2 alot more.

                                              The xbox controller is also crappy and gets your hands tired pretty quick.
