    PasswordByPhone is dead. Will not be paying.

    I have been trying to contact them for about a month or more with no success.

    Phone call were not answered, skype and ICQ messages were ignored.

    And here is the end today :

    Due to circumstances beyond our control with international phone carriers and the current market situation, we have closed our doors.

    Our service is at a point where it no longer makes sense to sustain operations of the affiliate program. We thank you for the support over the years. There will be no more payments. We apologize sincerely for the lack of notice. Delivering bad news like this is never going to be a happy occasion - or an easy decision. Our recommendation is you immediately pull your links, where appropriate.

      It's easy for me to be Zen about this since I am not owed anything, but I like it better when they say "there will be no more payments".

      It's a lot better than some "funds are in motion" bullshit. At least that's what I think.

      In my experience I think people tend to lose a lot more money fretting over missed payments and trying to collect monies owed than if they simply faced the reality of being screwed from day 1 and went to work replacing the lost revenue stream.

They are integrated with Global Acces who can convert all your non credit card traffic with phone and sms - with zero chargebacks, just FYI. (And they pay you weekly, CC Bill will pay your affiliates).

                                                                      Sad about PBP, it seemed like they were picking up, even sent a bunch of reps I never knew they had (outside of Marc J) to the Atlanta Forum in '08.                                                                               Lets be real here... it's the easiest decision you'll make when the skys falling.

Programs tend to close and pull these moves one after another when they see the other guy get away with it. It's why unless you've been posting here for the last three years and have never said a thing to disparage affiliates or suggest you might be the type to take the money and run don't expect me to join your affiliate program that you handle payments for unless we have a prior business relationship. Sorry, I'm not here to be screwed.

                                                                                                                                                  PasswordByPhone was just another company ran by greedy wankers. I used them for a few months and learned they took more than 50% and on top of that they charged an extra fee for wiring the money to my bank account. So after 3 months I removed all their links from my site and sent them a mail saying they were too expensive. People like this just want to grab as much money as they can at any price, and now things got difficult for them they closed their doors and kept the money they owe to hard working people, so at least they made proper money out of it.

                                                                                                                                                  This is one of the good things about all this piracy crap and economical crisis... only the strong and honest survive, all these con artists and porn producer wannebe's are losing it and forced to leave the porn biz and start doing something else, like becoming garbage men.
