family member dies, need to-do an estate sale.....

is there a good place online other than ebay where you can sell compelte estates? like furniature, jewlery, cars etc etc

    everything the person owned

i guess something like christies, but they do auctions

and this is quality stuff, not crap so not looking for ebay, or maybe we are looking for ebay since there is allot of traffic and they sell everything under the sun.

    suggestions would be appreciated

There should be estate liquidators in your state or city. Unless it's highly sought out collection or one of a kind items in the estate, I don't think Christy's will buy it (plus you have to figure the costs for them to come evaluate and all that). Probably better for you to go local.

What about the probate attorney who's handling it? Doesn't the firm have recommendations on liquidating the remainind assets?

Yes and you need to be very careful when you use these guys. I use to be in the biz myself right out of high school. You can just sell them the whole house for a lump sum or you can have a estate sale. If you decide to do a estate sale watch for a few things like marking some items at a very high price and hiding it were alot of people wont see it. They know it wont sell then after the sale they sell we will do you a favor bla bla instead of you having to pack thing up and they will give you a certain amount which is hardly shit and some items they will make some serous bank off of at a auction house.

Also another thing they will do is have there people come and buy the items dirt cheap at the sale. One incident that i remember is a 82 women who's daughter died did a estate sale. The house was packed was packed with goodies. Between the estate sale and us buying what was left she pocketed like $1200 . When we got done at the auction house we made $8200 at the end of the night.

I am compelled to write you this email for the following reason:-

One of my client, who is now deceased, in his Will, left his entire Estate and Cash deposit, valued millions of US dollars. The truth is that l do not know if you are the beneficiary or not.

For over two years, l have tried effortlessly to locate the person on the will without success, which mandated me to contact you.

Can you get back to me urgently if you are capable of investing these funds in any profitable ventures in your domain? You can reach me via this email address:

u aint this same e-mail scammer are you?

the tears must be causing such distress that he can't even type. Either that or the fear of life imprisonment.

There are any number of auction places in almost every major city.

I would recommend that you take a good inventory and see what you have. Some stuff, like furniture and whatnot, might go better in classified ads in local newspapers. Some stuff might do well to be dropped off to the local good will. Other stuff is auction material.

If you have no horse in the race and no financial benefit to yourself, then just work to find a local auction house and let them have at it.

Usually the lawyers who create the will/executors of the will take care of the entire estate and its processes. Atleast ours did when my grandmother past last year

Check the phone book. There are probably a few companies locally that handle just this.
