I heard that Grateful Dead started doing a concert every year for free. Free to the venue and free to the customer. You guessed it April 20th and at 4:20 on the nose the entire band used to light up right on stage to basically say fuck you to law enforcement.
Could be bullshit, just what I've heard over and over for quite a few years.
