Now, I'm not a rocket scientist .. but if somone posts in December of 2006, and someone else posts in May of 2007, 6 months later ... who ripped who off?

Ouch, if people weren't laughing at you before (hint: they were), this one made them fall out of their chairs in full guffaws!

ROFL .. wait, wait. Explain why we'd break Feed Pushers to implement a feature to STOP the RSS from morphing? No, wait, don't, whatever your explanation will be, I'm sure it's stupid.

Why affiliates would EVER want to STOP a feed from morphing is beyond me!

Yeah, it makes you wonder why in the heck he'd even TRY to say that ... but then you realize his strategy: he just says outrageously stupid things, often lies, and "baits" you into answering. He basically feels that if a user sees HIS first, they think it's the truth. Then, he quotes things in seemingly random order, trying to pretend he doesn't know what they mean, and "spin" them .. it's the classic move of a guy losing an argument. Kind of sad, but hey -- if I stood in line for toilet paper, I might have to resort to doing the same thing.

Also wrong because you have no idea how TheSponsorFeeds works It doesn't change the feeds on each reload/pull to avoid Google penalty. But there is no reason to morph on each reload to avoid content duplication on 10 or even 100000 sites, because the TheSponsorFeeds has a special key for that (it's called cxxx_seed). E.g.
http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252 - an unique feed for wm id 252
http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=...xx_seed=123456 - another unique feed for the same webmaster but different blog
                        http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252&cxxx_seed=31723 - another one
                        http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252&cxxx_seed=93837 - another one
                        http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=...xx_seed=912938 - another one
                        etc...

                        Surprised again?

You forgot one thing: we have used this morphing algorithm on rbblog.com since it's launch, and we are selling it also for a long time. Course we do care about our customers and their webmasters so all those ideas were implemented a long time ago.

HAHAHA -- here's what's funny. First off, we fed you some bullshit information (I won't tell you what) to see how you'd react, and you played it off like you knew about it and it was real. THAT was a good one, and we had a good laugh in ICQ about it. Next, we're only going off of what you claim -- which is now clear to be complete crap, and it makes me laugh again.

I didn't forget that at all. But neither did archive.org! There's a robots.txt exclusion now to prevent you getting caught in a lie.

But here's what Archive.org will ALSO tell you ...

When I was the Vice President of Business Development for the company that employed Guido and his team -- yeah, the guys who coded Python, the language a tiny little app called Google is written in -- we morphed the Freshmeat syndication "feed" of application descriptions, using the technology I wrote for that purpose. What was it? *gasp*, an alpha version of Feed Pushers!

What year? Oh, shit ... 1999-2001! Ouch.

Man, I feel so bad for you.

Yes, I do, but then again, I have a good command of English, too! 1999-2005 = 6 years late for you. Sorry.

So what you're saying is .. what matters is the last-bump date, not that the CREATION DATE of my thread is 6 months earlier?

considering we have "owned" you to the core in this thread and given completely valid arguments about everything, while you still give the run around and prove time and time again you don't know shit, YES, will resort to name calling cause it is damn fun and TRUE

So who has posted into my thread? You are fucked up again edgeprod BTW do you remember your last fuckup on XBiz board? Can I pose there the quotes from that thread where you were accusing me of "stealing your articles" because I'm just pulling the XBiz RSS news (by their prior permission) at FHGStore.com?
Not sure what you mean by posting in your thread -- or what that proves. I know English is a major barrier to you, but ... my thread was 6 months earlier. There's nothing you're going to say to change that, and it's just bizarre trying to figure out what you're trying to say.

Xbiz, the board I Moderate, you mean?

                                                    Ok, here we go:

                                                    XBizStephen
I had requested that the original thread be moved from the public boards to our moderator's board, because I felt that this whole situation was out of hand.

Cyberxxx / FHGstore did nothing wrong by reprinting the article in question, as he was complying with XBIZ policies.

A problem in our Syndication script incorrectly identified me as the author of the article and that script error has been fixed.

Edgeprod's problem is really with XBIZ and the terms of his writer's agreement with us; and we can deal with that in a private setting, making a public discussion unnecessary.

As for his claims of Cyberxxx being a 'scammer' I have no information on the 'why' or any other details, but as with any other poster making such a claim, to be fair, it should be backed by facts as to 'why' such a claim is being made.

So, I'll apologize to Domenic for any misunderstanding on this issue (heck, I had no idea about any of these concerns until this issue came up), and say that our programmer, Dave, is working on removing his articles from Syndication to prevent a similar reoccurance.

I'll also apologize to Cyberxxx. Despite anything personal between him and Edge, FHGStore didn't do anything out of line by publishing our Syndicated articles and I hope that he continues to use our feeds and other services.

You can all blame me if you want
Do you remember that story edgeprod? Yes, it was last time when you called me a scammer and thief for pulling an RSS feed with your article (which was removed from XBiz resources after your scandal) I hope you do Now your are trying to play the same game again. When you'll grow up man? Can't stand the competition?

Removed your posts? Of course no!!! Because I haven't had them at FHGStore.com, I just was pulling the feeds. The only thing I did - I just banned your name right in the RSS parser code to make sure your"articles" won't appear on my site. However it was not necessary, because XBiz has removed all your content from their RSS feeds as well so whey can't appear on other sites that pull the XBiz news feeds.

I had a conversation with them at the AdTech conference in NYC regarding this, and they said they're planning to specifically penalize sites that work this way -- that's why we haven't done it "on the fly" in Autoblogger Pro.

If you want to import a same feed with your webmaster id to more than 1 blog, you have to use a special parameter "cxxx_seed" with a random value, say "&cxxx_seed=123123", "&cxxx_seed=84372" etc to make sure the feed content won't be duplicated on all your blogs.

What exactly you don't understand there? I said he following:
                                                                                    1) The XBiz RSS feed content wasn't sored on my site, because it was shown on-the-fly by the RSS parser. So I was unable to physically remove it. Do you know how exactly the real-time RSS parsers work?
                                                                                    2) I have added a filter into my RSS parsing script to stop it from showing your posts. It's good that I wrote that parser myself so I was able to add this piece of code:

                                                                                    if (strstr($line, 'Merenda')) {
                                                                                    return '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;url=http://www.fhgstore.com">'."\n".'<br><br><br>The author of this article is banned from fhgstore.com<br><br><br>';

See, I haven't removed your content (I can't remove anything that isn't stored on the server). I just changed my parser.

However yesterday I did a new sale from this thread

If someone asks for morphing feeds cuz he can't code a script to do that stuff for him, that's 1 thing. But if a person is unable to use his imagination for 1 second or actually think for 1 second and chain a couple existing tools (he apparently is already aware of) together to produce the result he is looking for, then yes I'd call that person lazy...

I'm not a fan of doing work for the sake of work either, but to achieve something in life you do have to work for it. And that's something some people (way too many people in this "industry") don't realize. Instead of using the tools they've got available in a smarter way, they want everything served to them on a silver platter.
