Buccaneers vs Bears in the UK today

It's that time of the year again. The games over here are ALWAYS an 80,000 sell out!

    Game begins 6pm UK time.

Who's gonna be watching ? I'm always curious how Americans feel about the games over here. Would you be happy for your team to give up a home fixture to play over here?

The NFL have laid on a whole weekend of special events for UK fans and this always gives the Wembley game that Super Bowl feel, as Bucs head coach Raheem Morris said himself.
Apparently more and more teams are keen to take part. I know they are looking to expand the number of games that take place at Wembley...

    Let's hope it's not a shitty game...

The point is to expand the fan base of the NFL outwith North America. UK Soccer teams have been thinking about playing a game outwith the country as well. Manchester United are HUGE in Asia, so they want to play a game there, take the game to the fans out there.

        Makes sense.

point is to expand the NFL brand in Europe - mostly to increase the TV market and licensed crap to make more money. the NFL pulled the plug on the NFL Europe league. i don't think there will be an NFL team based in Europe for a very long time.
