We moved into a new house two months ago and it is on the edge of a small town here in Moravia CZ. Very nice house which will do us for a few years.
Only one problem is that with this beautiful hot weather we are having we are sleeping with the windows open. And every morning 5.30 to be precise I'm awakened by the cockerals from the farm down the road squawking out the start of a new day.
They seem to wander into the field next door and delight in ripping out. Eva and the baby sleep through it with out a murmour. Me I'm wide awake.
But at least we get fresh eggs.

A old friend of mine's mother in California raised roosters and all the neighbors used to go bonkers when the sun came up. She started to find BB pellets in their cages so I guess the neighbors figured that was the only way to shut 'em up.
