I do wonder what their policy is if a program opened up an account for an affiliate and the affiliate turned out to be a scammer? What happens then? Do they block every other affiliate in there until they get their money back?
If the company has sent 200k to process payments to affiliates, how secure are the funds once it's in their hands? As personal account holders, I know, from others experiences that some folks got double-screwed on some scammer, but is it the same with 'sponsor' accounts?

at the moment, I have over $40,000 paid to me per month through epassporte.
I actually prefer it at the moment to getting wires.It comes much quicker and is harder for my ex-missus and government to trace.
My challenge is to spend it fast enough so it doesn't build up too much.

Ok cool - do you know if they have some form of insurance on the funds they hold in trust for their clients/customers? **just asking anyone actually - not you in particular**
I just don't understand why they don't have fraud insurance of something of that sort protecting the good clients from getting screwed over.Comment

Plus in many jurisdictions you have to pay extra fees for international cheques, and a long (4-6 weeks) delay while the cheque is processed. Epass is free, instant, and I can get my $ out of an ATM the same day the payout goes through, anywhere in the world... Why is that difficult for people to understand?Comment

Lets say I have 3 sponsors and earn 200$ each (and let assume they pay on the weekly basis)
Payment
Sponsor A (Paying Using Epassporte)
Got my 200$ Instantly
Bought 100$ Worth of Traffic Instantly using epassporte online payment
(and that means I will earn something next week )
Bought Replacement HDD on Amazon.de instantly using virtual epassporte (got delivered next day)
Bought LEGO for my son in nearby TOYS”R”US using epassporte Visa Plastic card
Sponsor B (Paying using Wire)
Got nothing coz minimum international wire is 500$
Sponsor C (Paying using Old Stupid thing called – Check)
Waited for ~15-20 days to receive the paper itself
Paid ~15us processing fee and waited ~7-14more days

Looks to me like you need to stop living pay check to pay check and actually manage your money better. Then you wouldn't have to bitch about a program not having epass. Why should your money problems be the problem of the sponsor.My Location Germany

uh huh... and my point is that if the people bitching actually managed their money so they had a month or 2 of money in their accounts so they could spend what they needed to without having to get money "fast", then it wouldn't be an issue.. Instead they pass their poor money management issues onto the programs. Anyone that has money knows that you typically stop carrying about getting money weekly.. Instead, you start increasing your minimums so that you just get your money once or twice a month instead.Comment

Look at the history... before epass -and NATS, most paysites used ccbill or other processors that also handled the payouts. It was cheaper to merge the accounts, and epass is an alternative to what processors did earlier. So this is not about making bank, but reducing the costs. One big wire is cheaper than 30 smaller wires... its quite simple logic.Comment

Unfortunately, we don't have a choice but to drop them. We're offshore and our bank doesn't take international checks. This really sucks!

Same here - offshore - and deal with a number of OS banks in different jurisdictions and all of them accept checks, irrespective of where they come from. Most OS banks would be out of business unless they did deal internationally.Last edited by GreyWolf; 08-21-2007, 07:56 PM.Comment

Over at JuicyBucks we've found Epassporte easy to deal with, they've been quick to address any fraudulant behaviour we've picked up and i think they're a great instant way to pay our affiliates!
I'm actually really happy with their service!
Maybe because we're not based in America we don't have the same issues alot of these US based programs are encountering??Comment

How would you feel if you made a..lets say..$1000 payment to an affiliate and an hour later that affilaites account was "compromised" by a "scammer" and the money went to another epassporte account...and then epass tells your affilaite too bad...its your fault your account got compromised? would you stilll use them? would you offer to re-pay the affiliate? what if it happend another 3 or 4 tiimes to some other affilaites of your program?..would you still use epassporte?
