i have been part of the xpays enforcement on the video for over 3 years and these last 2 days have been an example of what happens. from the moment infringement is brought to our attention we act accordingly. these last 2 days aff has shown to have poorly organized administration. new protocols and standard procedures are sorely needed over there. no offense aff but it is the truth. please govern your company accordingly. us little companies are not asking for anything more than that you pretend you do business in the united states and abide by best practices.

Send an email to godaddy stating you're trying to contact the owners of said domain and it doesn't appear the whois info is valid.
Godaddy will attempt to verify, if not responded in a timely manner they'll drop the domain.

At least that seems to be the trick some scamers use to back order and snag domains based a few posts I've seen here about people loosing domains with godaddy and out dated whois info.

just for shits and giggles let's explore your hypothesis- what if you dmca'd godaddy and the upstream/downstream/anything ending in stream or nic, and then because the "attorney" who is "unavailable until monday" has not given an opinion, godaddy/streams would have to abide by the terms of the dmca and shut down things. again, we are affording professional courtesy here as AFF continues to contribute to infringement subsequent to our notices. that legal opinion is my personal thinking outloudness here as I continue to try and stop the constant losses us and our clients are suffering. that was just shits and giggles.

in a hypothesis (my personal opinion) one could dmca aff's processor right now and the processor would have to shut down commerce in 48hrs. not only that but AFF has been on notice for a while already.... something for aff to rectify fyi -

just for educational purposes. i am sure aff will do the right thing since they are certainly against this sort of situation.

One of my hosts shut down a server of mine after waiting about 2 weeks because I hasn't responded to their ONE email (no follow up.. no phone.. no faxes etc.) about a DMCA they had received.. It got lost in the void somehow because I received their emails after that... Oh... and the DMCA was illegal... Let's just say I was a little pissed off...

yeah that is weak- we have dmca'd all the torrent sites etc. and sent complete details to aff though. since they will do the right thing, i was just trying to bring the legal what ifs into the realm of possibility. and again i do not think aff themselves are covered by the dmca in this issue. nonetheless, i am sure things will get worked out, since aff is strictly against copyright infringement and unfair competition per their terms.
