what kind of tag systyem is this

From what I can tell from glancing at it, you're supposed to put that tag on each of those services and I guess their bots scan/search the sites for that hash tag and then publish it on their own site.

I'd bet it's a custom script. I've never heard of anything like that before.

how does this tag system work what type of script or code you need to do something like this ?

it uses an obscure tag, so not many people will use it, and that way they can query the tag content for the event page.

if it had a tag like #celebs it would be cluttered.

probably just some sort of work with the youtube and twitter ip that grabs the tags in question and adds to the event wall/list
