I really don't see the point of tipping someone that just does their job even if they do it well as they should. A tip should go to someone that goes above and beyond doing their expected job. If the detailer did something extra like adjusting his schedule to make room for you or a special drop off or something out of the ordinary, then a tip would be fine.

This doesn't apply to people that give service like a bartender or waitress. They should be tipped and the amount should be determined by the quality of service they provide.
