In the 60's I went to an anti-war rally at a ghetto park. I was turned off by the rich kids there, who kept having to drop their expensive cameras every time the guest speaker said something like "Let's here it for these poor oppressed Black people here." Poor Black?? We outnumbered the 100 to 1.But over the next few years, who won? Not the Mayor of Chicago, not 2 presidents, but a bunch of Hippies.
Doesn't matter. I see the OWS movement similar to what I saw in the late 60's. Takes rebel rousers. Takes rich kids who can afford time to do this.
Marrie Antonitte dismissed her peasants. Richard Nixon dismissed his Hippies. The Tea Party are the Silent Majority, RIGHT.
