Thanks for the assumption, but you're incorrect.
I scrolled, but it hurt my eyes and looked like shit, so I closed the window. I apologize if I'm not going to go feature-by-feature on software that A) I don't even know if it works, and B) is on a page that's horrid to even try to look at.
Besides, if I compare them and convince more people to buy ABPSA, that's a bad thing, no? I don't WANT many more ABPSA customers.

i don't know how long abpsa has been around but Blogs Automater is not a rip-off of your product. Blogs Organizer, the product preceding it, has been around for quite a long time with a similar featureset. it's in use by many serious webmasters and quite popular among the blogging community at netpond. so are kaktusan's other scripts.
you seem to respect and care about your customers. i suggest you give some minimum respect to your competitors too. trying to discredit them in this way doesn't make you look better. yours is not the only product out there and not every other one is a rip-off of it. i have bought BA a few days ago and i'm starting to play around with it. i'd buy and use ABPSA too if it did offer better functionality. you didn't motivate me at all to find out... which is ok, as you're not looking for new customers anyway. just my

I'll tell you one thing. Isn't it weird that almost every internet marketer with a crappy looking sales page sets their product/ebooks price to $97.
Was there a special super secret meeting on the guidelines of cheesy sales pages and requiring a $97 price tag? Or did someone write a sales eBook about the psychology of 97.
For the record...usually products that cost $97 are shitty. And I avoid them at all costs.★★★

Thanks much. You've come a long way, too, and for saying this, you're officially off of my "that guy's a jerk" list!
Hit me up if you ever need anything.
ROFL -- yes, it does seem to be some sort of odd strategy to make people laugh at them. Usually, a nice product comes along, 50 rip-offs show up and try to price lower and lower, until no one at the bottom is making any money.I'll tell you one thing. Luckily, we've already made our money off of ABPSA and can move on to new projects -- the stuff in the pipeline is killer!Comment

Wow, that low for all Jace does? Frankly, that's amazing, for what you get. Maybe I should add some of his stuff to our sales pages -- very synergistic. Well-installed WP installations make it so much easier for our products to do their jobs.Comment

The reason I didn't answer you before was because it looked like you weren't serious. I figured if you couldn't be bothered to write a sentence I could actually understand, I couldn't be bothered to reply to you.
With Edge Report, I only ping 3 places. I should ping more, but Edge Report isn't optimized for ... anything. It was just a site I played around with for a few minutes. I never tried to get traffic to it, it just ... well, happened, like most of the ABP sites that I forget about.
Also ... and I hope this doesn't offend you ... I don't know you, no one here probably knows you, and I wouldn't show my referrers to people I *know* -- I don't want people to steal them. Such is the game.Comment

Hehe, yeah. Maybe you can run Brujah OVER with the short bus. He bought ABPSA in November of 2006. A few days later, he asked for a refund because he didn't like how ABPSA worked, compared to (don't laugh) reblog. We added a few features for him, including the RSS output (which was later forked to another project), so I was annoyed in general by it. Although we don't offer refunds, generally -- we ask that people TRY the software first -- I granted him one because I figured it'd turn into drama, and it wasn't worth it.
So, December -- actually, Christmas morning, December 25th, over a month after his refund was processed, I find out he's still got ABPSA on his server. I ask him nicely to take it off. He's apologetic, this, that, the other thing, all these excuses.
So, he annoys me just now, I check again .. guess what? 10 months later, he's still got ABPSA installed. I'm tired of getting scammed by bullshit like this -- there's no excuse to still have it installed after requests on our ticket system *and* on ICQ. So, if I'm in a pissy mood when he posts drivel like "you want a cookie" about the fact that I like your pricing, and the fact that you do a good job ... the scamming and lying fuck can suck my cock.
Unless you can think of an excuse that'd make it ok? I can't.

I even answered 5 tickets for him -- that shit ain't quick. It takes time.
After all of this time of still having it installed and ignoring my requests -- even saying it was deleted last time but just changing the URL slightly, fuck him, I won't ever believe it's truly gone.
Although, I'm a nice guy, generally. I'd accept an apology and him getting off my nuts.Comment

Actually, you bought it 6 months before the Stand Alone came out, but I won't hold that small fib against you.
The version you bought didn't come with an upgrade option, because it was the single-domain, not the network-license, which was $299.
I just upgraded you for free -- check your account and download the new version (ABPSA).

abpsa looks like a mint tool. Does it work with 3rd party/free hosted wp blog sites. The ones where it auto installs wp on a sub domain for your chosen keyword? Ie; keyword.wpbloghost.com
Cheers,

I use it with WordPress.com and BlogSome, so I'd assume it works with most WPMU sites. I can post out to any of them you'd like to test it with ... just to see.Comment

Funny -- we're talking about that on ICQ right now.
More than a little kinky, but I won't lie and say I'm not turned on.

Ok, I'm game you fucking retard. First, I'll explain the joke. The $97 price was mentioned as the amount marketers like to use to hype their products. I poked fun at Jace and I knew he'd be cool with it because I like Jace and I talk to him now and then. You stepped in like Kramer trying to be funny or something, and were about as funny as his N*gger jokes or just didn't get it at all. I'm not surprised.
A little "$97" joke with Jace and look at your reaction. That's ok, I'm ready. On with the show.
The biggest reason for a refund was because I didn't want to have to deal with you anymore. You are an asshole. You can't handle the smallest question about the product without getting overly defensive and thinking it's an insult. However, I still had a specific need and I was looking to see if ABPSA could fill it.He bought ABPSA in November of 2006. A few days later, he asked for a refund because he didn't like how ABPSA worked, compared to (don't laugh) reblog.
Case in point, the thread about ABPSA when I posted several helpful posts to others who were setting theirs up. I was posting a bit of a walkthrough to help and you got bent out of shape and Chio stepped in. I think to help explain to you that I was being helpful, but your typically defensive response was to get all tazmanian devil and go berzerk.
I remember this conversation. I asked you what features you added for me, as I couldn't recall any. I don't think you ever responded. I did TRY the software first dumbass, as can be seen with me posting that walkthrough I mentioned earlier. You're a liar, let's add that to your qualities while we're here.We added a few features for him, including the RSS output (which was later forked to another project), so I was annoyed in general by it. Although we don't offer refunds, generally -- we ask that people TRY the software first -- I granted him one because I figured it'd turn into drama, and it wasn't worth it.
I wasn't using it. You had access to it. You must've kept going back to look at it or something I guess. You'd have known the test blog I set it up on, and how it was not being used. That's why I forgot the files were still on the server, and I think you even mentioned that they were several versions behind. So, December -- actually, Christmas morning, December 25th, over a month after his refund was processed, I find out he's still got ABPSA on his server. I ask him nicely to take it off. He's apologetic, this, that, the other thing, all these excuses.
It's still on my server? Right now? Well, I just checked and you're right. It must be a REALLY old version huh? Do you remember ICQ'ing me and telling me I could just go ahead and keep using it for free? I told you it wasn't necessary. I haven't used it. I hadn't intended on using it. You did say I could have it FREE however, so maybe at the time I thought I'd just leave it there in case some future date I might use it. This was a surprise to me and I thought I had deleted it. I'm sure you already know this but it makes for a better story or post if you claim that I'm still using it right? That speaks a lot about the kind of person you REALLY are.So, he annoys me just now, I check again .. guess what? 10 months later, he's still got ABPSA installed. I'm tired of getting scammed by bullshit like this -- there's no excuse to still have it installed after requests on our ticket system *and* on ICQ. You're a tool. You're a liar. You're a fucking idiot with a bad temper. If you really think ANYONE that matters is going to believe I would've scammed you for a refund and kept using your product you're in for a surprise. I'm much more the type to have purchased several thousands of dollars worth of software, designs, content, or other and never even used it than to have scammed you over this. After all of this time of still having it installed and ignoring my requests -- even saying it was deleted last time but just changing the URL slightly, fuck him, I won't ever believe it's truly gone.
Although, I'm a nice guy, generally. I'd accept an apology and him getting off my nuts.
