Talking for myself - 3 times in my life I bought 7-series BMW - but I never got any 3-series for free - maybe I am the exeption but I think not.

I was lucky to get in when it was good. If I had started when you did, we would be screwed now. Maybe it's arrogant of me, but I don't blame shooters for the mess. I blame cheap skates like Kenny who think shooters can produce this.

I was scanning some of my stuff from 1988 and it wasn't good. Still I could sell to mags by then. 1980 was my first sale to mags, Mayfair. But in general my work was not good. If I had started in 200 knowing what I knew in 1977. We would be fucked.

No way do I blame shooters and looking at many who did start in 2000 or around then, there work has progressed. Those who didn't have left.
