                                                      I don't see death vans running around taking people out anytime soon. I think the entire death penalty idea is falling apart. Gonzales likes the death penalty a lot and is abusing his power as a last resort to control them, because so many states have quit doing them. This will all end up in a huge legal fight, probably ending the death penalty to protect states from being sued.

If thats the case, then yeah... I guess this does suck.

                                                                                                                              Or, I guess perhaps there is some OTHER form of evidence coming in the not so distant future (Time Cops?) that will proove something beyond the current technology.

In fact, the Canadian murder rate declined slightly the following year (from 2.8 per 100,000 to 2.7). Over the next 20 years the homicide rate fluctuated (between 2.2 and 2.8 per 100,000), but the general trend was clearly downwards. It reached a 30-year low in 1995 (1.98) -- the fourth consecutive year-to-year decrease and a full one-third lower than in the year before abolition. In 1998, the homicide rate dipped below 1.9 per 100,000, the lowest rate since the 1960s.

                                                                                                                                                                              One of the things that I have always loved about American law, is that you have to Prove your innocence, and they DONT have to prove your guilt. they just charge you with a bunch of shit, and wait to see if your attorney is clever enough to get you off. If he is, but that have not totally destroyed you, then they decide if they want to file new charges.
