It looks cool for what it is. I'm sure you already know the focus limitations. But there are some dedicated video cams that are out now that can do this AND keep good focus for doing hand held hardcore shooting.
I'm probably gonna get one of those this next year.

Im going for very short depth of field on these shots. I can shoot and ISO 1250 and use F11 to shoot hardcore and it works well. You have to be good at focusing though and I have had a few months to practice and I am shooting all my scenes this way now. If you are thinking about getting into shooting DSLR and have any questions hit me up. I have already made most of the mistakes you can make and althought I was very leery about shooting sex scenes this way I now wont shoot any other way unless I am shooting POV of course

Looks great, I shot my entire new site coming out with one and it was definitely tough at first. I can see myself only wanting to shoot this way also. Keeping it focused was very tough at first and I did get better but still have a ways to go. I like the challenge though.
Good thing solo girl sites don't need high quality videos because it allowed me do alot of trial and error.Previous owner of SoloRevenue

Well, you can sort of fake it with a video cam by opening it up all the way, zooming up all the way, and placing the girl in a position with the background far in the distance.
But to do what he is doing on that vid...you would need one of the DSLR's (like the Canon 5 Mk2?)
But the problem with shooting with a DSLR is keeping it in focus. Check out the vid on Naughty Americas new "Tonights Girlfriend" and you'll see what I'm talking about:

I had the AF100 and although I thought it was more practicle you didnt get the skin tones and depth that I wanted plus the color was very difficult to deal with. I sold my AF100 and I still have like $4000 worth of lenses I need to sell. I will stick with 2 5Ds for now and use the good shotgun mics. Seperate audio is way too much of a pain. With these clips I wasn't going for the natural audio that would be pretty boring but hey its softcore LOLHD and 4k Content Production by JayRock

I tested out a few DSLR cameras that was a kit and came with a lens. You don't get much depth of field with the standard lens that those kits come with. Have you tried anything something similar to a prime. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens probably wouldn't work for handheld.Network Of Adult Blogs With Hardlink Rentals AvailableComment

you can create this same affect with a standard video camera that has a face detection/tracking feature. i use a Canon Vixia HF S200 and when i want to create this affect i just touch the screen where the subject is and it will blur the background. if something comes into the background that i want to focus on, i just touch the screen where the subject is and it comes into focus and blurs out the first (closer) subject.Comment

Interesting. I've never used one so I can't comment.
But I did read that there are some more vid cams coming out in the next year that also are able to do this. That AF100 sure looks good for the price...but from what you're saying it might be wise to wait a few months for some newer ones to come out.
I think it's going to be the next "standard" with vid cams and by this time next year all of them will have that capability.-Robbie

We've used 2 hacked Panasonic GH1 with 20mm F1.7 for the last 6 months or so. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities where you can film guerilla style in quite dark locations and yet get great video with beautiful bokeh. The GH2 is supposed to be even better.Comment

Hey Jay high-five man, I also had the AF100 for a while and not happy with it either and sold it again after a few months. Apart from the colors I found the image a bit blurry, the only thing I liked was the crankup to 60fps to create awesome slow motion. I'm now using two GH2s and from time to time a Canon 7D. I prefer the 7D look (apart from the moire problem) but find the GH2 much more practical to work with. Also the GH2 was hacked, it's now possible to record 66MB/s or higher, terminating h264 compression artifacts.Comment

Robbie what are you talking about, "auto focus" or "auto follow focus"? You really don't want to use any automatic focus on these cams, in the current HD consumer cams you have things like face locking focus but what if you want to keep the pussy in focus and have the face blurred? Are you saying that Panasonic and Sony are going to release DSLR video cams with "pussy locking focus"? Will they have pussy recognition as well?

No way the 4/3 sensor can do that it has limitations. Doesnt matter over 25mbps for internet anyways. The most people are streaming is 10mbps on the norm and thats a bit overkill for internet viewing. If you are selling this shit on Blue Ray then maybe then it matters a little but the better sensor will always win.

this kills what you have in mind as far as focus and movemet:

the issue is dslr lenses don't have the servos needed to track focus for video... and I know this because..... spent a few hours down at the vendor that sells these as well as other cameras to cinnimatographers... BECAUSE I was intersted in the Sony fs100... and they quoted me about 35K+/- to get the fs100 to oporate as an eng camera which is basically what 'we' use to shoot video... the dslr's and fs100 and pannys are 'single' cam shooters with pulling focus and editing. basically for scripted wotk, which isn't what gonzo porn is...

And I agree that 60mbs is overkill for the web today but with everything I shoot I keep the future in mind. I'm now streaming my full HD videos at 960 x 540 resolution and in 2 years I will start adding them in full HD resolution so past members have a reason to return. Then who knows what's possible in 5 years from now? It would make sense to start shooting in the new 4K resolution, stream now in HD of full HD and stream again in full resolution in a few years from now. And I may start doing Blu Ray DVDs.
The camera on top of my wish list is the Arri Alexa by the way. Check out samples on www.vimeo.com is is awesome and has the best light dynamic range imaginable.Comment

I don't know if what you call track focus is the same as auto focus, but the AF100 does have auto-focus in combination with Limux lenses that have a built in focus motor for example the 14-140mm zoom and the 12mm and 20mm pancakes. I only use it as push focus though so don't know how it performs in continiously auto-focus but you can set the focus area on your LCD screen and I slighty remember that the AF100 has face focus tracking but I never used this so I'm not sure.
Basically the AF100 is a great cam, apart from its image. The biggest problem is the electronic noise, you have to put sharpness back to -7 and crush your blacks to get rid of that. That's another reason for me to chose for the GH2, there is much less noise even if the blacks aren't hitting zero.Comment
