What is different betwen free site and tgp?

I would have to say the difference is that TGP'S get their galleries from Free site webmasters who submit it to the TGP's.. while the free sites get galleries from their sponsors... that is just my opinion..

But supposedly a tgp is a one page affair while free sites are generally four pages a warning an entry choice and two gallery pages or any variation. Tgp pages generally lack a warning and have from 12- 20 pics on a single page.
Free site gallery pages can also double as tgp pages so you get three bites of the pie (two gallery pages making two tgp pages plus your freesite) for the price of one.

A gallery is one page of thumbnails that gets submitted to a TGP(thumbnail gallery post). A FREE SITE is a mini site that gets submitted to link lists.

TGP galleries will get you lots of traffic very fast, and for very short spurts so you will always have to be building galleries and submitting to keep the flow of traffic up. Galleries stay on the TGPs for very short periods of time usually 1-2 days between the front page and archives. Conversions really come down to what TGPs you submit to, how smart the gallery is designed and the sponsor you choose to promote, and the frequency of your submissions.

Free sites will get you a lot less traffic, they are permanent once accepted to link lists. They can be considered much better quality as far as traffic, conversions, etc... Again, factor in sponsor, design of the free site and how often you submit. IMHO you should be submitting both everyday.

IF you decide to build free sites, you will need to make two of those pages, sponsor galleries. So you should try and do your best to make those galleries compliant with TGPs so that you can submit them there as well and thereby killing two birds with one stone.

Galleries go to TGP and MGP sites out there.
Free Sites belong to Link Lists.

Galleries are considered to be short term activity/income source.
With Free Sites you will need to be more patient, but they produce good traffic in long term (thanks to SE).

A free site is one that has content, beyond that of just the photo gallery or two. A free site should include more than just photos, well at least a quality one.

Whew, that was an education. I'd always wanted to know what the difference was. I think I'd rather go with the free sites if I had to choose, but that's just me.
