    I read this whole fucking thread and there's no, "Ok...problem solved...this affiliate has been banned and we are now going through ALL of our affiliates to verify their traffic..."? I can understand why...$$$$$$$...but that just makes you a thief too. I call Lars (bullshit).

    Oh..btw...if you profit from stolen content (which you are) you are most certianly setting yourself up for litigation.

            Just so you know, all ads are removed from PirateBay and will be removed from TNAFlix by tomorrow and the sites that have been mentioned as being DMCA compliant are empornium and puretna. If you see any of your content on empornium or puretna, please send them a DMCA notice and they will remove the content within 24 hours. They have 2 people on staff that are hired solely for that purpose. If you would like to send me any other sites that are non-DMCA compliant and have Fleshlight ads on them, please feel free to do so and I will handle them accordingly.

So, you do business with people who are openly in the business of illegally distributing content, as long as your ads don't appear on the same pages as the stolen content.

            Meanwhile, you still consider all content fair game, because after all, the DMCA says that content owners should police the torrent sites and such themselves. Which, of course, pretty much fucks over all small content producers, who lack the resources to police all the torrent sites.

            So, the end result: you'll still be financing content theft.

                No...our ads will not be featured at all on piratebay or tnaflix from this point on. If anyone has any other sites that aren't DMCA compliant that have our ads on them, please let me know and I will handle those affiliates.                     First, you will still be advertising on puretna.com. Puretna.com, afaik, is owned by the same people as tnaflix.com. So, you will be doing business with the semi-legal branch of the company, and ignore the blatantly illegal one.

                    Of course, puretna.com isn't exactly DMCA compliant either. They have no address on their site for DMCA notices, nor are they on the list with a designated agent: http://www.copyright.gov/onlinesp/list/

                    Instead, they have an email address on their website, and this notice:

                                DMCA compliance requires more than just putting up an email address. It requires registering a designated agent with the US Copyright office, and putting up a page which lists the name, address and phone number (and possibly email address) of that designated agent.

Please don't speak about what they did/didn't do unless you know for a FACT...not something you assume...bottom line is, they will remove any violating content within 24 hours and they have 2 full time employees to police the content on their sites.                                         I DO know for a FACT that they are not DMCA compliant.

                                        You would know too, if you'd take the time to actually see what the DMCA is, and visit their sites after that.

                                        Name, address, phone number and electronic mail address. And, not or. They do not have the name, address and phone number on their pages, therefore, they aren't compliant.

                                                                    I am appauled at what I am reading in your thread.

                                                                    I am a content producer. I make my living doing this, it is my full time job. I have been doing this for over 10 years and I have never felt such a hit as I do right now with the boom of these types of sites. My content is all over the torrents and as soon as they take it down, its back within a week.

                                                                    To say that you will do business with someone because they will remove any stolen content within 24 hours is something that I can not wrap my head around. That means that you know they have stolen content, but if they are caught with it, as long as they take it down you are ok with that?

                                                                    Please, please, please tell me you are part of a more ethical organization than that. If not, don't be surprised if someone throws a drink in your face at the next show.

But there is quite a few sites that use torrents legally. One of the biggest companies I know of that uses torrents legally is blizzard, they use it for updating world of warcraft. I bet it's saved them a TON in bandwidth bills.

                                                                                            But there's also sites like these that use torrents legally.

                                                                                                    The biggest site I know that uses torrents to distribute content is the BBC.

                                                                                                    Clearly, not all torrent-reliant sites are distributing stolen content, but the sites we're all talking about distribute stolen content as their whole raison d'être. Allowing your advertising on these sites and profiting from them is clearly supporting them to further growth.
