    True Cyrpt

    does anyone else encrypt there hard drives?

    I just reformatted.. and it takes me hour to move shit around after a reformat I know it is the encryption.. I just wonder if I am wasting my time using it.

    I use twofish and serpent to encrypt my drives.

              Why do you transfer so many files at the same time? Doesn't it just make it slower when the harddrive need to write all files at the same time?

                                  Shit you've done a mistake man. It will take much longer if you will make 10 selections at a time because windows have a "fake" multitasking.

                                  This mean that it will make you think that all copy-paste work is done simultaneously but it is not. Windows will swich from 1 selection to another until all will be finished. So the inscriptor of your hard-drive will move from one place to another to write your selections. (mechanical moves -->> more time).

                                  To make the time shorter you will have to copy-paste each selection one by one or select all and let it finish the job.

                                  You can get the conclusion that you choosed the worse sollution.
