Not that Caz owes anyone an explanation, but for the record the story is true. I have seen and heard all the proof and it's really a no brainer. Caz it was awesome seeing you again as usual, can't wait till next time bro.

I don't think anyone disputed that things happened. What I find lame is how Mike Hawk fired up that completely lame thread and then buggered off without so much as a word to Lisa by way of a "well maybe we jumped the gun a bit" if not an apology.

Did they ever find out who actually did the theft?


Under the circumstances described by ycaza I can't say for certain I too wouldn't have made an accusation against Lisa, but I CAN say with 100% certainty that I would have gotten my ass back here and apologized to her. Although I wouldn't have been in favor of a Mike Hawk making my accusations for me and then running his keyboard like he did.

This whole thing was handled poorly, start to finish.

Honestly CD, if there were something to apologize for I would, if you knew me well you would know that. I made a whole trip to vegas to see what the hard rock said, and they were very clear, my credit card was used to pay for her room by someone in her party. They did not hesitate. The trouble is that they could not get me a tape and the police just really did not care. They were of no help. I authorized my lawyer to spend up to 500 bucks (cuz this has already cost me like 2000 in lost money, and trips to find out and trouble in replacing it) to see if he can get me a tape. So until then its a moot point. For me I havce let this go. if she or anyone else took it, then its theirs, I am not going to worry about, hold a grudge or anything like it. Its best for it to go away. That is my last word, unless I get the tape. I have heard lots about lisa in this time, some good, mostly bad though. I wish her well either way. She got her 5000 in vegas and I had to see it. But I live my life a certain way and I bode her no Ill will from now on. If I find that its not her I will make a big production about it, But so far the hard rock was very clear about it, not one employee, but 5 supervisors, the timing fits, and I got a real receipt. either way I wish you and others that have been critical of me and or mike well.

The proof she showed in that thread was very convincing that she couldn't have done it, nor could either of the other two people in her party. She spent more than an entire week defending herself here and on other boards as well, and never hesitated once show what proof she had by way of her room reciept.

Are you sure you read the entire thread Mike started? It sure doesn't sound like it.

My final word as well. I'm not judging you per se, as I said if I were in your place I'd have raised the question to her as well. I do however seriously doubt I would have brought the issue to the boards without first checking with the hotel and finding out all I could about it, and do everything possible to handle it privately first.

Honestly, it's hard for me to believe that you can't see where your bro Mike Hawk made himself, and by association YOU, look like a shit-heel in that thread. He started it prematurely, then after a few hours he basically fucks off and lets the accused twist in the wind. And here we are how many weeks later and she still has not been proven guilty?

From what I've seen and read and heard she at this point looks a lot more innocent than guilty, and that doesn't seem to be just my opinion. Several on the boards are usually quite objective minded when such drama is made public, not taking sides one way or the other until more is known. Several posted similar sentiments on Mike's thread. And who was the dipshit who took it upon himself to go and change Lisa's wikipedia listing to say she was a thief? I believe it was changed back but man, you seriously can't see the scumbaggery at work here?

Whatever, done and done, and you're right, it's over. Hopefully the actual person who stole your wallet and tried to fuck you over gets what's coming to them in full at some point.

I'm not taking sides here yet, but I am definitely leaning towards Lisa's side since:

Ycaza and MikeHawk have proven nothing other than a charge was made against Caza's missing (lost/stolen credit card) for Lisa's room - which could have been a mistake of the hotel, or done by some other party, for some other reason.

There has been no definitive proof that Lisa, or anyone associated with her, either stole or found Ycaza's wallet, and then used it to pay part of her bill.

On the other hand, there has been proof provided that Ycaza's card was credited back for the charge to Lisa's room, and that Lisa and those with her paid 100% of their bill.

Additionally, Lisa has provided a considerable amount of info that appears to exonerate her and her party, that has never been refuted, as far as I know.

In view of that, I think it is past time for Ycaza and MikeHawk to either come forth with some additonal proof, or else man-up and apologize to Lisa, instead of continuing to sling innuendo towards her (Ycaza), or completely pussying out (MikeHawk).

They can always reserve the right to reverse their position should some additional proof come out, but at this time that appears unlikely.

I might have flown off the handle and made similar charges based upon the preliminary evidence (wallet gone - bogus charge against my room), but in view of all that has transpired, and no further evidence provided since to prove my case, plus ample unchallenged info to refute that case, I would say it's time to resolve this issue with an apology rather than a sweep under the rug (Ycaza), or hiding under the rug (MikeHawk).
