    Let's talk about the "friends with benefits" situation.

    Has anybody really ever had a "friend with benefits" and kept it that way throughout? Meaning that, never at any point was there any other feelings besides wanting to have sex with each other.

    I've had a few, what I thought were "friends with benefits" but if they saw me with other chicks or saw me on the hunt for other chicks, they never took it well. They knew we weren't labeled "together" but still would get jealous or mad.

    I really don't know if it's possible to have such a thing. What does everyone else think?

      Well, it is difficult to say how well it really works unless you can read minds.

      As long as they don't display their irritation with the situation, it is fine with me.

                          i think its a great game...the rule is..you keep it going until either one of the parties finds someone they are willing to settle down with or at least someone who is more than just a great piece of ass... friends with benefits works perfect for people in this industry, its hard to find a regular girl to understand the line of work we are in and be cool with it

                                  Several years ago I had a co-worker with benefits situation. I got a new job and was working in the same general area as her. Within a few weeks we were carpooling and after a few weeks of that we went to a concert together and had sex. It was meant to be a one time only thing, then a week later we did it again. After that we pretty much did it every day after work. She had kids that were at school and we got off work at 2 in the afternoon so by the time we got to her place we have about 90 minutes to bang before they got home. so we would get after it for an hour and then I would go home. We never saw each other outside of that.

                                  after about 6 months she got offered a kick ass job but had to move away to take it. She ended up taking it and it was over. I will admit I liked her, but not in a way that I wanted to be involved in a deep way.

                                  I actually ran into her a few years ago. It has been about 10 years since I saw her. She was still living in another state but was home for Christmas and new years. We met for dinner, talked and hooked up one last time. It was cool.

                                      Yes, Friends with benefits works fine.. but YOU IDIOT! You still cannot let them know you are fucking around with other chicks... women get jealous, it's in the genes... You just fuck your friend and keep it that way.... if you want to fuck someone else, don't let them know and save yourself a headache.

                                              The trick is to have OLD boy/girlfriends as FWB. That way you both already know it didn't work on a deeper level for whatever reason. Then you can just screw each other's brains out and not worry about any emotional attachment

                                                      first of all, dont call me an idiot, you don't know me...second, you're missing the whole point. "friends with benefits" to me, means sex with no strings attached. If you can't be around other chicks because your friend who you're fucking might get mad, than there's strings attached. That means there's more feelings than just sex.

                                                              I used to bang this Brazilian chick for almost a year. She even invited her girlfriends over a couple of times. In general it was an amazing deal. Until one day as we were banging she muttered "I love you." I stopped and for some unknown reason let out a little laughter. I had some of them going for years with other girls on the side. I always had my main fuck then the side fucks. Never much feelings for any of them besides one

                                                                      Haha.... relax brah, can't you see the sarcasm? "friends with benefits", simply means that you fuck your friends - your not dating. But every women is the same... if you fuck them and they see you with another girl, they will get uneasy, it's just the way they are... which is why you have to play the game if your going to fuck your friends, there are always strings attached... EXCEPT! for the "friend of a friend" friend... if their not REALLY your friend, but more of an acquaintance, then you can often get away with it.

One girl I was friends with benefits and I started to like her for more than that and it ended and another (also a chick I worked with) and I started out FWB but ended up dating for a while then went back to being FWB for a while.

                                                                              That's all I used to do. Hook up with a girl, set up the friends with bene's relationship and roll with it until it stopped working. Sometimes she would get feelings and cut it off, or just mutually parted ways. But it was a good 5 years or so of those relationships.

                                                                              They work, but the upkeep is a bitch, especially when you have more than 1 at a time.
