    Is it any surprise that I don't recognize 98% of contest winners?

    By screen name/nick I mean.

    Seriously...contest whores should be fucking banned.

      yea, no kidding, out of 20 winners or so, maybe 1 or 2 names are recognizable... it's pretty lame that surfers that no one has ever heard of can participate but when woj wins a prize or 2 everyone cries that he must be cheating...

              Almost all of them are surfers. They are even creating multiple nicks, to win multiple times, and selling the nicks when they reach a nice postcount.

              It's just unbelievable.

                              He is right though. It really pisses me off to see sponsors giving away 1000's to some kids who just troll the boards to get free shit.

                                      But the reason sponsor start contest and pay prizes is they need their thread to get noticed and remain on 1-2 page .. which they get in either case.

                                      I don't think there should be any problem with who wins the contest .. ya, bots and multiple nicks should be banned, but why become a cry baby because you cant win the contest or don't recognize who won?

                                              Who the fuck is a cry baby? I've participated in one contest thread in my 4 years at GFY and it was for custom cartoon characters by Gene more the 2 years ago. And I won....twice.

                                              You will not find one post from me in any other contest thread.

                                              I simply stumbled into the latest contest thread to see who won the car and noticed that I didn't recognize any of the names as active posters.

                                              And if it was all about keeping the thread on the 1st page or 2 why is woj discouraged from participating?
