Night owl or early riser?

Early riser for sure..

Used to be the same way, work until all hours of the morning, then get up around noon.. Now it's up at 4:30am work until 3 or 4pm, then fuck off until 10 or 11pm, sleep, then back at it again the next day.

i just don't sleep 8 hours a night. I'm usually around 4 or 5 hours of sleep.

Both sort of. I usually get up just before 7 and then work until about 5 or 6pm. then some family time, and back to work about 9 or 9:30 until midnight, and then off to bed about 1am after an hour quickie with the wife.

I am both. I stay up to till 4-5 and wake up at 9.

I sleep about 15 hours a night on the weekends though

if i have to pick just one i pick night owl. i'm much more likely to stay up late late late than to get up early early early, but i usually wake up at the same time every morning regardless. thank god for no alarm clocks, nasty little things!

It varies. I go stretches where I wake up early. It depends. I have a lot of outsourced staff so sometimes my clock is upside down dealing with them.

I'm a hybrid. I stay up late when I'm out but no matter what time I go to bed, I'm up around 9 or so anyways. I don't like getting up really early, but once I get up, I'm up.

I go to bed at 4am and get up at noon, everyday, for the past few years. Just my natural cycle and I'm lucky enough to be able to live a lifestyle that allows for it.

Night owl here. I have gotten used to it that it's hard for me to wake up during most of the morning and early afternoon. :-(

Absolutely. More gets done in the daytime hours.

I've found i have a natural body clock too....I find it helps to go to bed about the same time each night and developing a pattern/routine

I do the best when I wake up naturally instead of from an alarm. Working the swings was the best, because I would still be up at 9 or so, but it was just when I woke up. Set an alarm for 9 and I'm draggin ass until a get few cups of coffee in.

I go with the body clock and get to bed between 2am-3am then wake up at 8:30-9am. I can't jump out of bed and hit the streets running.

I have to roll into the day if I want maximum productivity. If I start my workday at 10-11am then I'm good for 12 to 14 hours straight.

Nightowl - always have been. I can remember when I got a pensized flashlight as a gift when I was about 12 - I was THRILLED! I could read at night w/o the light showing under my door

im a night owl, but i want to be an early riser, i find that if i wake up at noon or later, im lazy and just sit around and do nothing all day, but if i get up at 8AM im productive as fuck... i just need to get into a routine of getting up that early

I'm a combo of night owl and early riser, it depends on the day.

I tried the biphasic sleep cycle but couldnt really get it to work for me. Hard enough to get up once, much less twice a day.

Back when my son was growing up and I was just starting out in the biz, I'd work all night while he slept, take him to school, come home and sleep, wake up, pick him up, do whatever afterschool stuff he had, eat, spend time together, he'd go to bed and I'd go back to work - it was a perfect schedule

My office windows faced the street - I'm sure my neighbors wondered what I did for the 5 years I lived there just staring at computer screen all night and sleeping all day ;)

Kinda was used to that back in the day. Now a bit longer, thank God. In my last apartment I was sleeping mostly 7-9 hours. They say that's fine.
