Is it possible that a gallery recieves over 150,000 visitors (all from high ranked tgps...hun, persian kitty, etc) and only 80 visitors visit the sponsor?

A guy told me the industry average for adult pay sites is a sign up about every 2,200 unique vistors. So, you know, some sites get a sign up every 800 visitors, some every 4000. Depends.
And, yeah, like someone said make sure you understand the difference between a hit and a unique visitor. A unique visitor is one person from an IP address who visits your site. Hits are everthing that person downloads in their browser.
Say you have 20 images on your home page that download every time a person views your home page. That means each unique visitor generates 20 hits each time they view your home page. A rough average is if you get 17,000 unique visits per day, that will generate 700,000 hits.
That's the way I think it works anyway. Someone please correct me if I wrong.
Off to LA to do some filming. Rough job, someone's GOT to do it. "Show me where the fucking studio's at." :-)

Try using explicit pics and lose the big unlinked picture in the center.
You've not even shown the surfer a pair of tits on that gallery, you need to show them what they are getting so they will click through to the tour.
Tour looks a bit crappy also, you'd be better showing some decent content on the gallery and linking straight to join page.Comment

with 150.00 uniques, you got to have some signups. Af mentioned before, i could be 150.000 hits and just a few k on uniques.
I have no idea what an average gallery could score on signup ratio. Makes the curious though

I don't know who told you this but they have some really crap ass traffic. Your goal should be to have quality traffic that you send to sponsors that are fitting with your site's theme. In doing so, you will have MUCH MUCH MUCH better conversion rates. I can honestly say at times I convert some of my traffic to like 1 signup out of every 64 unique visitors.
