Well for props I would go with old/fantasy swords, knives chalices altar bowl, skulls, bones, chains, leather, latex . Maybe some outdoor nudes circling bonfire ritualistic, any other safe use of fire in the pics. One word CEMETARY. Any sort of vampire fatal embrace pics would be cool too.

Also, if you can pull together a crowd of real fetish goth people doing their own thing, and segue (shit, I can't remember how to spell segway) the models into their own scene, that would probably be effective.

that's all kind of cliche goth stuff, which is fine because every type of photography has its staples, you expect to see a goth model in certain settings in certain clothing.
now a cool idea for Ian would be to shoot Goth girls in settings and situations where you'd never expect to see a Goth chick. Put her on a tennis court, poolside, all the cliched settings adult photographers use. That would be visually interesting, disturbing, fish out of water. I'd love to see a goth chick in a little tennis dress on the court looking back at the camera with blood dripping from her lips. Or in the middle of a beautiful meadow.

I've had this idea for a while now but have not been able to find the content.
It's based on the *dark theatre* idea sorta Anne Rice-Vampire theatre-Paris. There would be a main show (very sexy but tame) as well as different rooms where there would be darker activities going on. Behind the scenes...Dressing room, Prop room, Back Alley, theatre after hours etc would all have various dark debauchery scenes playing out. I foresee it as hardcore but it could also be suggestively softcore, with lots of costume/props. Very rich and lush and dark. Something like the movie Moulin Rouge in its feel.
