aside from bitcoin next big thing will be a sort of facebook for businesses, where you can look up for new contacts, negotiate with your vendors, contractors, partners and associates, where one company would be able to arrange order of inventory and other put out a bid for media buyers, etc... someone somewhere will come up with something like this and will become a global b2b marketplace. add a layer of security that all data will be stored encoded and read with private/public keys and it will be golden - no one would be able to complain that private data is shared in any shape way or form with third parties.
what will be next wave of another gold rush where everybody with little effort could make good money, i have no idea.
