i like the xbiz layout more because i hate sites that are justified to the left. i'm sure its for some design reason, but if you're asking a straight opinion on what design we like best, i'd say the xbiz one because of the left justified avn one.

i don't care for left justified sites.

I agree, left justification sucks. Also, I like XBiz's more graphical representation of stories vs. AVN's long list of text links that kinda all runs together.

However, I am also a fan of the new AVN site - kudos on a job well done! All that long hard work really paid off!

That big flash window on AVN is kind of a waste of space and I found the links hard to separate while reading them.

So XBIZ for me.

I kind of prefer my business publications look more like the WSJ or GFY, simple with the focus on information, but both the redesigns there are very pretty.

Would those be, respectively, the big goddamn thing on the left that shuffles through the stories for each of the sections and the links to the right of it?

My take:

I don't really trust AVN, so I rarely look at their site.

Xbiz felt that they could take my single opt in and send me 5 to 10 pieces of mail per day. I won't go near them with a 10 foot pole now.

Is there a third option?
