                                              yep...there are so many factors when it comes to download speed. We are happy with mojohost but from our location we are only getting around 300KB/sec from our servers.

                                                      Also have to factor in how far you are from your server, I'm here in Florida so I get 1mbps+ from my server, when I was with quadra I got 250 to 300k and they were on the west coast.

                                                                  we are located in southern california and get around 200KB/sec on this file. we usually get around 1.5MB/sec but the past week it's been really slow and can't seem to find an issue with the servers.

                                                                                                      i'm not getting good speed either in Canada - tried it a few times - once 350 KB/sec, once 300 KB/sec and once < 300 KB/sec

                                                                                                      i then downloaded a video file off my own server and got 2 MB/sec

                                                                                                          Your test file comes in at about 1.8 MB/sec (I'm in England) which is pretty good I'd say.
                                                                                                          The network is obviously good and Brad is definately a top bloke going by the brief correspondence I've had with him in the past.

                                                                                                                                          Again, I'm in the UK and I consider those results very good for a server located transatlantic.
