What did you think of Castle - Law & Murder?

In short, it allows you to kill anyone who invades where you live, or in some states where you are, like in your car. It offers protection from legal action when you defend yourself. So if you kill dead a guy who is in your house stealing stuff, or if in your yard stealing your riding lawnmower, you can shoot him and defend your castle.

Killing might be a bit extreme, but I'm all for defending your health and property. Here in Poland, if you use excessive force to defend yourself from a burglar, you'll be in a deeper shit than him. And by 'excessive force' I mean that if he's not rushing your way with a knife in his hand, you better not knock him down with a baseball bat or else you're in trouble. And that's fucked up big time.

I can?t see myself going at someone with the intent to kill unless I or my family were in danger.

according to California law it is illegal to use deadly force unless your are being threatened on your own or any other person's life, that includes rape btw.
so shooting a burglar is probably out of the question unless you aim for the knees of something..
