Oron getting worse?

I've sent a list of links 3 times to this thieving sack of shit file locker and the files are still not down. They were bad before but it seems like they're getting worse?

I guess i'll wait for a gay company to sue them

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

I noticed the contrary, they started to remove faster after they've had their share of troubles with paypal back in August. I thought that meant they reconsidered their DMCA policy and decided to act proactively and remove quickly before angry producers will start calling paypal and raise hell.

Which you can do right away if they're not answering:

Make sure to include the most graphic descriptions you have for your content, like "little teenies with gaping anal holes v.153", paypal LOVES that.

I find they're worse if you send a largish amount of links at once. I sent about 300 links from one client the other day and they took them down in 50 link chunks.

But, Oron do take down normally in 48 hours. Filesonic/Wupload, much quicker, 2 hours if you push ;)

CC all your DMCA's to Oron to :
[email protected]

If the content isn't removed within 24 hrs from Oron, send an email directly to Leaseweb and ask them to enforce their TOC otherwise you will hit them with legalities. Leaseweb reacts faster than Oron acts.

BTW ... want to block your content from being stolen as much? IP block all of Leaseweb from your servers. We found when checking that much of our stolen content was from their IP's as they host Oron and other file locker sites.

Leaseweb is as bad or worse than the file lockers - I bitched to them once about Oron and the reply I got from them was like 'neener neener stick your DMCA up your ass, we're in the Netherlands and DMCA means jack squat to us'.

Blocking IP's in combination with an overall strategy to discover who was posting the stolen content has def. cut down massively on the amount of our content that is shared compared to others in our niche.
