    i got stung by a bark scorpion! it's not that bad really.

    hahaha, riiiight.

    it hurts like crazy!

    i mean it really hurts

    and the pain doesn't go away, it just gets worse and worse, last for about an hour then painful tingling all around the sting and up my leg. lot's of numbness, increased heart beat, blurry vision.

    we called poison control and the er and they both said the same thing- take some pain killers and basically ride it out for 24 hours.

    so that/'s what i did, all good now except for the nightmares about giant scorpions getting me

      it's not the sting that hurts either, it's the poison.

      i saw the scorpion scamper away before i felt any pain. then BAM!

                                                  i'm back to normal, it was more than 24 hours ago that i was stung.

                                                  the sting is much worse than any bee sting i've had.

                                                  i was out on the balcony of my home chatting on the phone and put my feet up on the ledge, my right foot landed right on the scorp.
