What's more important is this:
Support for TGPX has seized, and the script author has officially resigned, which is why the script is sold so cheap, because it is nowadays generally unsupported. Big security updates will still be done, but normal operation support will not be provided.
As for Smart Thumbs, it was good many years ago and it is still a very viable and good script today. For the price duifference and considering that Smart Thumbs is still supported today, I say that ST wins any day of the week, because when or more so IF shit would ever hit the fan, the author s will be there, readily available, at least for now.
