14,000 posts, a letter to lensman, and a thank you and (pic)
Dear Lensman.
I have now made 14,000 posts on GFY. I have read, at least, 10 posts for every post I've made. I have therefore produced 154,000 banner impressions for you over the years. Now, I'm not up with the advertising prices and whatnot, but in my opinion that many impressions must cost an advertiser more than the price of a five course meal.
I think it would be a very acceptable offer on your part if you would allow me to redeem 20% of said banner impressions as a discount on purchasing my own advertising banner on GFY.
A generous offer would be waiving the entire cost of 10% of said impressions. I.e., give me 15,400 banner impressions gratis.
