So what do you guys think of this...
A paysite has all their features listed on their tour.
On the join page, it also lists all the features you get as a member.
There are 3 options when you join in the drop down box. A 3 day "limited trial" for a few bucks, a 30 day membership for about 30 bucks, and a 90 day membership for about 70 bucks.
Nowhere on the tour does it say anything about a limited trial, it simply lists all the features and benefits you get if you join.
Nowhere on the join page does it say anything about a limited trial, except on the drop down menu where it has the price, and all it says is " 3 day limited trial".
So you figure, I'll join for a few bucks for 3 days and check it out.
When you get in, however, you discover that most of the content is not available to you, the limited trial member. You only get to view some pics, and that is pretty much it.
If you click on videos, or webcams or cam archives or any of that, you are promoted to upgrade your membership.
So, what do you think? Clever marketing or outright fraud that, in my opinion, hurts the industry and screws the customer?
