A Porn Bunker for the Apocalypse

    There thinking ahead!

Some people are preparing for the end by buying canned goods or a gun.
One adult entertainment company has their priorities straight: They?re building a massive underground bunker, that will, of course contain all of the obvious emergency supplies and facilities but also a few, ahem, amenities.

The bunker will have multiple fully-stocked bars, an enormous performing stage with a ?rotating hydraulic platform with emergency pole? and a sophisticated content-production studio, according to the company, Pink Visual.

I was watching a show last night on the History channel about a special bunker they've built to store all types of seeds so the the earth could be replanted in the aftermath of Apocalyptic devastation.

Who's joking? We've broken ground, and it's full steam ahead!!

True, the End of Days is probably not lurking around the corner in 2012..... but look at it this way: if the Apocalypse doesn't happen on schedule, we'll still walk away from this with an extremely cool underground content production facility.

Sure, we might come up a little short on the budget to create this bunker as it is currently envisioned, but I figure if the U.S. government can go $14 trillion into debt and still function day to day, why should we let the prospect of a piddly little eight-figure debt stop us from building the coolest party pad/production facility known to man?

(Granted, our CFO might have a different perspective on that, I suppose.)

This made me laugh because we really ARE about to add an underground nuclear bunker as another datacenter for Clonebox, so companies like Pink Visual really can have their business that well protected.

Quentin, if you'd like to do a follow up maybe we can provide some photos or video of bringing "your" cloned servers into the actual underground bunker.

This made me laugh because I know the Pink Visual people are we really ARE about to do this. We're adding an underground nuclear bunker as another datacenter for the Clonebox hot spare server system, so companies like Pink Visual really CAN have their business that well protected.

You just might see a follow up story with video of their hot spare servers being moved into our underground bunker.
              Fucking spammers.

edit: ahahaha I didn't realize the fucking spammer was right above me...

I notice there are like a dozen seats in that place.

Fucking pirates. In 2005 it would have needed 127 seats.

I always thought it would be silly to build an underground bucker to escape an Apocalypse but then once you can return to the surfer... who am i going to sell porn too? Everyone will be dead.

As noted on the image itself as well as in the articles that ran the image, that overhead schematic is just the "command center" module, which will comprise a very, very small portion of the overall bunker.

You might also have noticed that it has no sleeping quarters, water tanks, toilets, etc? That's not because we forgot about the need to have sufficient bedding, water and bathrooms; it's just that we haven't released plans for those portions of the bunker, primarily because those aspects are far less compelling visually than is the command center module.

Plus, if we release the full set of bunker plans/schematics now, what would we have to show the media between now and the point when the bunker is sufficiently far along for us to start shooting footage inside the thing? ;-)

that's nothing new.. and that is to preserve plant species in case of anything, including things like drought and floodings.
