    Anyone been to the Grand Canyon?

    I have never been and wondering if its worth the visit? Any good hotels around it? What would you recommend doing?

      yes ive been, its really cool the first time. Theres a couple hotels on premises, one is really nice. They also have a boarding kennel if you want to bring your dog. Definately something you have to see at least once in your life.

          I have hiked it twice and as draining as it is both physically and mentally its an amazing experience but I do suggest that you send the money and stay at the phantom ranch at the bottom you really need the good food and the type of sleep you can only get in the bed to get you out of the canyon

                  the rooms aren't anything special but its a historic hotel and its right on the edge of the canyon.

                      Yeah its pretty cool. Went to the south rim when i was in the states in march.

                      If your doing a flight tour from vegas make sure you get some earplugs or soemthing. those little planes make ur head feel like its gonna explode. lol.

                          wow sounds like an adventure....is the only way to get to the phantom ranch by foot?

                              Its fucking awesome! If your thinking about it....GO! I drove from Vegas, so I'm not sure of the hotels, but if you drive from Vegas you can see the hoover dam on the way as a bonus.

                                      I've been to the Grand Caynon a handful of times. I must have missed something because I just didn't get it. I even took an airplane ride over it.

                                      It's interesting to look at for about five minutes and after that it's just a large canyon.

                                      I found Bryce Canyon to be much more interesting.
