This being said, there are different approaches: you could just leave WP open (this is, without members info) behind a protected folder and have another install in your root that grabs teh content from members area, but this approach is old and annoying. Good WP memberships give you the option to extend WP even further

or you could have all the files outside of the root, ive done this for someone, so it generates a new url every x amount of minutes, and the content is out of reach for anyone.
old urls expire and no longer can be used so no sharing.
