What are the problems you are having?

I have purchased nothing but Dell since the late 90's, and have never had a lemon.

i recently bought an $1800 box from dell

they billed me three fucking times, yes thats right, charged me over 5 grand, cancelled the order and then took three weeks to refund the money

the only email i got from them was to ask me if i still wanted to buy the computer

I bought a dell netbook three months ago. I love it. No billing issues.

From the start it just hasn't been up to speed at all. The start up takes ages (yes we've checked everything to make sure nothing is there that shouldn't be). The sound isn't great (again everything has been checked), and then tonight when i was only surfing on GFY, the browser crashed, and now even after restarts and everything else, it simply goes back to the same screen, and you can't click on anything. That was over an hour ago.

My last laptop before it was a Dell. I just feel like this one isn't gonna work great at all. I'd rather choose another one...

Im on my 3rd Laptop from them and second desktop from them. No issues at all but one Laptop where they offered a 1tb drive but did not actually have it so they made up with a 500gig external .

My neer dell laptop has done pretty damn well considering the use it gets and how portable I make it. Somehow the cdrom went up, which I don't use anyway and my screen is beginning to flicker. If you tap on it, it comes back fine. Guessing there is a loose or worn out connection somewhere in there. I'll take it apart eventually and figure out the problems.

My old Latitude from 2001 is still going strong. Not a damn thing wrong with it besides being slow. Great for browsing the web though.

Either way, both of my dell laptops have done better then any other brand I've owned.

Sometimes I honestly believe that it's a crap shoot. Most of the time you'll be fine. But that one time... You get a lemon.

I hate dell. I have had many problems with them over the years. my gf has an old laptop and they sent her restore cds free. mailed them to her next day for a computer that has to be 5 years old. xp. but that is the only good thing I can say about them.

Never had any luck with their laptops (3 in the past 5 years all fucked)
However the desktops have worked out very well for me, Ive had 3 in 12 years all died after years of slavery.

Take it back and get a Mac. It is well worth the few extra bucks which you will save in the long run anyway and have a smile on your face.

their machines are ok, i just hate when you get Achmed on the phone for support.
