That is what I think. Old school rave made you want to dance. R 'n' B just makes you think what an idiot the guy is singing it is.

Going into a field in the middle of no-where with a sound system and listening to hardcore with thousands of others fucking rocked!

Exactly. I was once in a club with some shit R'n'B (friend's birthday) and was sitting on the sidelines with some black guy and his friends. He was giving it all that "Yo, yo, this shit is whack!" bollocks, but when his friends went off to dance he just sat there, head in his hands, and muttered "I hate R'n'B... It sucks". Then the moment his friends came back, he turned into Westwood again with: "Drop da bomb! That was fucking dope".
