That's a Hennessey GT, not a Lotus. It's from the same people who made the Hennessey Viper. Sweet cars. I dunno how the handling will be on it.

That's insanely fast. My old Mustang Cobra was 0-60 in 4.0 seconds and that was fast.

This is why I sold my car. Everyone I was rolling with was all about how fast their car was from 0-60 and in the quarter mile. It's all pretty much pointless on the freeway.

maybe in la, but in vegas? i'd expect a lot more open space no?

There's lots of open space and lots of open freeway. But you run the risk of getting caught. I now have four tickets over 100mph to my name. (It's stunning I never lost my license.) Pass.

I got 5 tickets for being 'the guy from out of town in the vette' driving around central and costal cally... had two hearings with the dmv to keep my license and my ins went to over 4K per year... wasn't even speeding ...
