Could there be any problems with renting a car and using Payoneer as a card you give for a deposit? Not to pay, just as a deposit.

Many car rental companies will put a reserve on a special amount on your card upon picking up the vehicle, I have seen reserves of $2-3000 USD for a single rental. Then upon return of the vehicle, they deduct the rental charge and then put the rest back to the card.
So as long as you have enough on your card to cover what ever they want or need to hold as a reserve, you're good. But if you have $0 on yours card, they're gonna throw it out and ask for other security or deposit.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

mossad used it for hotel rentals, plane tickets and such so should not be a problem.Comment

does it have visa/mc on it? Is there enough money on it to cover rental and deposit? Then it should be ok.....Unless your credit is shot, in which case, places like Hertz won't rent to you no matter how much cash you have.Comment

You will have troubles if you try to rent the car at the airport.
It is best to go to your local Enterprise office and rent it there. Bonus if you bring your girlfriend. Your card will show in their system as a preloaded debit card. Not a credit card.Comment
